Looks like Kentuckiana will recieve a one, two punch from a strong storm system approaching from the west.
Tonight showers cover most of Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky out ahead of a warm front that extends from Kansas to the KY/TN border. Most of the showers will stay north of the Bluegrass Parkway until early tomorrow morning. Look for a few isolated thunderstorms around 6am Friday morning to produce some locally heavy downpours just in time for the morning commute.
We will see a little break in the rain from mid-morning to mid-day as the warm front pushes north of us.
The atmosphere will become more unstable by early afternoon and with the approaching cold front we will likely see some strong, perhaps severe storms develop. The main threat will be damaging winds, hail, heavy rain and possibly an Isolated tornado. Right now I think the best chance for severe weather and tornadoes will be along the KY/TN border and south.
The SPC has us in a Slight Risk for Severe Friday.

Stay Tune... If the weather does turn severe we will start a live Web Chat Friday afternoon.
Traveling from Bowling Green to Henry County approximately 12:45 EST. What is weather like?
