Well, the Webbs made it to Louisville in one piece. It was a taxing and emotional trip, but we all seem to be doing OK now. Even the dog. Our household goods will be here tomorrow morning, so that will keep Kim pretty busy for a while. Then she might go see her sister in Cincinnati. Cousins for Cody to hang out with! We were at our house yesterday morning and as we walked up the porch we noticed a little visitor. A baby skunk. Hmm, what to do. I told Cody, "back away very slowly...." and we went in another door. He can't really go under the porch, but he had dug himself a little hole to get in. So now, we have a skunk situation. We wouldn't want Willow tangling with that skunk. Any suggestions? Kim and Cody have been enjoying the weather... First the thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday (Cody is a little weather junkie), then the perfect July day yesterday. Right now I'm telling Kim it's like that all summer long... I don't think she believes me...:) Kim is waiting to see some fireflies. She loves them and this is a bug that we do not have in Seattle. We're anxious to get settled once and for all. It has been a long Spring and early Summer. 5 CommentsLeave a comment |

Mark,
I may be giving you a call soon. Something has to be done about the skunk before our dog meets our little guest!
Monty
Monty, Just heard about your skunk situation. I would love to give you a hand. My name is Mark True and I own and operate ACT Wildlife Management. 231-4646 call anytime. I have been trapping and relocating animals in the Louisville area for over 20 years. I can take care of that skunk for you..Remember moth balls are for moths.
Thanks DeeDee,
I'll give it a try!

Believe it or not but skunks don't like the smell of moth balls. My mom used to keep them away by putting moth balls in the hole they dug under her shed. Surprising that something that smelly doesn't like moth balls but it's true.
Welcome to Louisville! But could you tell me what happened to Ken Schultz?
