A northwest flow continues to dominate our weather pattern. This time of year that means we get to enjoy cooler and drier weather. This Friday a weak disturbance will slide down that northwest flow and give us a slight for a stray late day shower or storm. We have another chance for a shower/storm over the weekend (20-40%), but don't let it stop your outdoor plans, just be ready to run inside for a few minutes to let it pass. The dry weather this week has really helped our neighbors in southern Indiana clean up from the widespread flooding they had two weeks ago, but as they try to put their lives, homes and businesses back together, they are now faced with a new challenge... SCAMMERS! In Medora Indiana the Red Cross is reporting that people have been posing as FEMA workers, trying to obtain personal information. Red Cross officials say that all residents who are working with or have been contacted by FEMA need to check their bank accounts for suspicious activity. So what can you do to protect yourself from this scam...? |
