A fairly weak system drops through the area late tonight and tomorrow. Not great news if you have some outside plans Friday, but as the front passes east of us late in the day, we should get a much needed break this weekend. The sun should return with highs returning to the 50s. Not a heat wave, but I'm excited to get back out in the yard with the kids and the sand boxes! One thing I will be watching, besides the kids, this weekend will be a larger storm projected at this time to move in on Monday. We may see enough energy and warmth to spark up some stronger thunderstorms.
