We haven't been able to top the summer of 1936, but we are close. They had a 21 day streak above 90. Ours will be stopping a few days short. Even worse, back in 1936 we hit 100+ 9 times in July and 6 times in August. Those 9 days in July are the most 100 degrees in one month ever. YIKES! So, the moral of the story....things could be worse!
