Up until the very end of July, we were managing to see the end of every hot spell about the same time that they began. I believe the longest stretch of time we went with highs in the 90’s was 5 days. Then a cold front came through and cooler temperatures and lower humidity values would follow. Well, you knew it was too good to be true so here we are facing a legitimate heat wave that will likely remain with us through mid August.
