Sports: April 2008 ArchivesDallas Cowboys star wide receiver Terrell Owens will descend on the Ville next week for the Kentucky Derby and several of the star studded parties held around town. Owens' trip to the River City is expected to start Thursday with an appearance at J-Dub's annual Bowl for the Roses charity event at Lucky Strike at 4th Street Live. That's just the tip of the iceberg for the man who put Sharpie on the map. He plans to make it a full weekend in Lou... It seems like everyone with an opinion about Earl Clark's and Derrick Caracter's decisions to turn pro feels the need to voice it. At last check, the UofL sophomores were foregoing the rest of school to make themselves available for the NBA Draft. But based on all the criticism they've been receiving, you would think the two had decided to go commit a crime or something.
