If Louisville football coach Steve Kragthorpe is not retained the NFL Network's Michael Lombardi says John Gruden will be the top choice to replace him. A blog on NFL.com says a source tells Lombardi that Gruden is Athletic Director Tom Jurich's number one target if Kragthorpe is let go. Gruden is an ESPN analayst and he used to coach the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders. His brother Jay was a quarterback for the Cards in the late 80's. UofL has tried to squash the Kragthorpe rumors saying him and Jurich have not met to talk about the future.
