Listen I have no problem with Brett Favre. He was a great quarterback. Not the best ever, but one of the best. But the love-fest with this guy is over the top. Enough already. Is he retired? Is he coming back? Who cares? It's not worthy of talking about it every day.

Favre needs to come out and set the record straight. It's not fair to the Packers who have made plans to move forward with Aaron Rodgers as the new starter. Maybe they wouldn't have drafted Brian Brohm if Favre was going to stay.

Brett, you had a great career. Now sit back relax and enjoy life. The NFL will go on without you.
