Rick Pitino was in a good mood Monday, not a surprise after that great showing Saturday night. He was glowing about the crowd at Freedom Hall. He said it was the best atmosphere he's ever coached in. Kentucky fans, what do you think about that? Pitino also talked more about his now famous white suit. It scored almost as many points as David Padgett, and only played one half. Pitino said he happened to have another suit in the lockeroom, because he wasn't going to wear the white outfit out to dinner after the game. He said he had the white threads shipped up from Miami, because you can't find something like that in the 'Ville. But he was wearing blue boxers, and once he started sweating, they were starting to show through, thus the quick change at halftime. As for basketball, Pitino likes the position his team is in. He went out of his way to complement Derrick Caracter. Especially, his behavior on the bench, cheering on as Padgett did his thing. Next up Depaul in Chi-town. Looking at the remaining games, I'm going to say Louisville will go 5-2 down the strech. But 6-1 looks very possible. What do you think? Either way, this team could be hitting their stride at the right time. |
