First Half Full Of Miscues Leads To 14-14 Tie

6:05 PM Mon, Dec 31, 2007 |

If your the Kentucky Wildcats you can look at the first half in one of two ways. (1) You're happy to be tied with Florida State depsite three first half turnovers. Or (2) you're in some big trouble because you're giving Florida State life.

That's really been the story of the first 30 minutes. Kentucky should be up 24-zero but they're allowing the Seminoles to stick around by committing costly penalties and turnovers. In addition to the three turnovers the Cats have committed five penalties. It's a good thing FSU is making similar boneheaded plays. They've committed eight penalties for a total of 94 yards.

It seems like both teams are giving the game away. My prediction is the winner will be whoever plays the smartest in the second half. Go figure.
