My head hurts!! I was looking at the tie-breakers in the SEC East, trying to figure out any way Kentucky could still make it to the title game in Atlanta. Sorry, but I think they are out of luck. That's because Florida beat South Carolina. It was the Gators last SEC game, and they would own the tie-breaker with the Wildcats thanks to that win at Commonwealth. If the Gators had lost to the Gamecocks, and UK beat Georgia and Tennessee, I believe the Cats would have slipped into the Georgia Dome. Regardless, UK can turn a good season into a great season if they finish with wins against Georiga and Tennessee. They really need to win at least one of those two. That could get them to a New Year's Day Bowl because the Big Blue fans travel so well. Did you see the UK crowd at Vanderbilt Stadium. They owned the place. It was a sloppy game against the Commodores, but give the Wildcats credit for the 4th quarter touchdown drive Keenan Burton's long kick-off return was huge. And then, the UK defense for holding at the end. |
