I agree the defense is out of synch. They've looked lost at times. I also agree the effort against Kentucky was lacking. But did those who are bashing Coach K stop to think that maybe UK is actually a good team? And how about losing Amobi Okoye, Nate Harris, and William Gay to name a few off last year's defense. Those guys are all in the NFL. It's not so easy to throw new guys in there and expect the same results.

Louisville is number one in the nation in total offense. I'd say that's pretty good for a new coach. I know what some of you are thinking. I'm making excuses for Kragthorpe. No, I'm just saying let's wait to see what happens the rest of the season. Let's see if the team gets better. When he took the job, he knew the high expectations. He gets paid a lot of money and he can take the criticism. I don't mind fans being upset, but how about waiting a few more games before passing judgement. Remember, the great Bobby Petrino lost four games his first season. His team also blew it in the 2nd half against Rutgers last season. They looked lost on both sides of the ball in that game. And Petrino is a genius right?
