I have no problem with the Cards giving him a shot. It had been 3 years since his last brush with the law. And it's obvously there was a zero tolerance policy attached to his scholarship. Tom Jurich must have told this kid, one screw up and you are gone, because less than 24 hours after Willie got arrested, he was off the team. But it is interesting looking back at Coach Steve Kragthorpe's comments on national signing day. He was so sure that Willie was headed in the right direction after asking a number of "football people" that knew Williams well. But Willie slipped again and now he probably lost his last chance at playing big time college football. For his sake, I hope he's able to salvage some sort of success in his life. But it's shame to see such talent wasted for no good reason.
