Here are the four different spins on the Rasmussen poll of Kentucky's U.S. Senate race, from the four main candidates.
Daniel Mongiardo
"The Rasmussen poll varies widely from two recent independent polls that show Daniel Mongiardo as the strongest Democrat against Republicans Trey Grayson or Rand Paul. No matter how you slice it, the General Election will be very competitive. The fundamental question for Democratic voters is do they want a Kentucky Democrat like Daniel Mongairdo who reflects their values and who will stand up and fight for Kentucky's working families or a silver spoon Democrat who represents out-of-state interests who neither share Kentucky's values or our priorities? We are confident which one Kentucky voters will choose."

Jack Conway
Conway Surges - Capturing Momentum in US Senate Race
Mongiardo Support Deteriorates - Unfavorable Rating at 43%
A new independent poll confirms that Attorney General Jack Conway has captured the momentum in Kentucky's United States Senate campaign.
Despite months of Daniel Mongiardo's relentless spin, the new independent poll by Rasmussen Research shows clearly that Mongiardo's support is deteriorating.
While Conway holds a strong 49% favorable and 27% unfavorable rating among all Kentucky voters, Mongiardo has a weak net negative rating of just 41% favorable and 43% unfavorable.
The independent poll shows Jack Conway is the strongest Democrat against both Republican candidates Trey Grayson and Rand Paul. Conway runs even with Grayson, and is four points ahead of Paul. Mongiardo trails Grayson by 7 points (44% to 37%) and trails Paul by 5 points (43% to 38%).
"The people of Kentucky trust Attorney General Jack Conway because he's delivered results for them," said Mark Riddle, a Conway strategist.
Since being elected Kentucky's attorney general, Jack Conway has saved taxpayers $162 million, put child predators behind bars, and fought to keep illegal prescription drugs out of the hands of children.
Trey Grayson
The press loves polls, but voters want solutions. This race will be decided by Kentuckians on Election Day - the only poll that matters. Trey Grayson is the candidate who is articulating solutions to get our country on a path back to fiscal responsibility, and the more voters learn about Trey Grayson, the better we're going to do.

Rand Paul
The latest Rasmussen poll out today on Kentucky's U.S. Senate race confirms what Kentuckians from Pikeville to Paducah are finding out: Rand Paul's message of limiting government's power over people is spreading like wildfire.
"Support for big government bailouts, takeovers, and debt is falling like a rock," said David Adams, campaign manager for Rand Paul for U.S. Senate. "In just two months as a candidate, Rand is polling as well as or better than the professional politicians who have been at this for years."
"That just shows the power of being believable on balanced budgets and term limits," Adams said. "With Rand's credibility on the issues and support growing more and more every day, it's easy to see that Rand Paul will be the strongest Kentucky candidate next year."
I've read about the many times Conways Office has won judgements against corporations but don't recall reading about him somehow saving the taxpayers $162m.
My question is where does the $162m go? If it goes into the General fund, why hasn't there been huge press releases in this down eceonomy?
Not much response from the Grayson camp. They must really be concerned with how quickly their lead has dwindled to a newcomer in the political arena. If this keeps up, Trey may be in danger of falling out of contention well before May.
"The press loves polls...." -Nate Hodson, Grayson Campaign; today.
""Well, the press loves polls...." -Trey Grayson, as quoted on this blog on August 18, 2009.
Stock answer much, Grayson campaign?
No matter who is running for the senate seat, the number one question that should be asked if they support the Obama administration.
If they do support Obama, them my suggestion would be to go to youtube and type in, the Obama deception and then click on (the obama deception final version 1~12 and see who he is associated with.
The can then look up the (Bildenberg Group and the Trilateral Commission, then Council for Foreign Relations.
If your candidate is supporting the Obama Administration, then vote with your heart and vote for change, real change that benefits the American people.
"A silver spoon Democrat who represents out-of-state interests"? Maybe Mr. Geveden failed to remember the recent Chicago fundraiser that the Lt. Governor had and used as an excuse not to show up to a previously scheduled event with the Governor last Wednesday. Can anyone say hypocrisy?
I met Jack Conway at a home on a small country road where there was a small gathering of 60 some people but;could have been twice that many.It was an outside gathering starting at 6:00pm at 4:pm a storm came blew one way then another then hail 1/4 inch of course that turned alot away.I couldn't blame them everyone got wet just running from the open building to the house. That's right even Jack still showed up.We all went inside with a warm welcome the family passed out towels and proceeded with Jack thanking everyone for being here. What I saw was not just a man running for a race.I saw Kentucky's future and another kind of storm brewing. If we could all get on the same wave we got something here to believe in.
