Williams' alternative not in session, it's the Gov's call

Interesting sidenote in CNHI News Service Ronnie Ellis' coverage of the special session, that Speaker Greg Stumbo advised Gov. Steve Beshear to include Senate President David Williams' alternative lottery proceeds proposal on the call.

But, as Speaker Pro Tem Larry Clark had suggested on WHAS11 last month, the General Assembly will instead face an "up or down vote" on a slots at racetracks proposal by Beshear. And, only that purse proposal.

Why should we consider David Williams' suggestion?
His proposal is ridiculous and he is once again only thinking of showcasing himself. If Williams, Bunning and McConnell were less interested in themselves and more interested in the Commonwealth, we could move forward.
It is time to get rid of these, "three stooges".
