Frayed nerves and exhaustion are taking their toll.
The war, the economy, an unpopular president, a simple message....Change... were formidable obstacles.
That coupled with the fact that McCain was outspent by a margin of 3or4 to 1 made this campaign nearly impossible.

The political planets were all lined up against McCain. Then, he had a hard time finding a message that would resonate with the voters.

I read all of these comments and I can't figure out why people have to make fun of someone or degrade them because they made a mistake on answering some questions.I would like for everyone who commented to look in the mirrow and ask themselves, have I ever done anything stupid in my life or gave the wrong answer. I think so! I know your answer already, yes I have but, I wasn't running for VP of the United States. It makes no difference, we all get stupid once and awhile.
