The latest campaign finance reports of the two candidates for the 3rd District Congressional seat look like spitting images of each other. The filings show republican Anne Northup raised $8,000 more than John Yarmuth in the 3rd quarter and has $4,000 more cash-on-hand at the end of September. Those differences are pocket change for two candidates who have raised $1.9 million (Yarmuth) and $1.55 million dollars (Northup). The reports show Yarmuth has raised $588,000 of his total from PACs, though he says none of it is from corporate PACs. Northup has collected $316,000 from PACs. Neither candidate has loaned their campaign any money. |
