Yarmuth, Northup Have Same Amount Of $ For Stretch Run

The latest campaign finance reports of the two candidates for the 3rd District Congressional seat look like spitting images of each other.

The filings show republican Anne Northup raised $8,000 more than John Yarmuth in the 3rd quarter and has $4,000 more cash-on-hand at the end of September. Those differences are pocket change for two candidates who have raised $1.9 million (Yarmuth) and $1.55 million dollars (Northup).

The reports show Yarmuth has raised $588,000 of his total from PACs, though he says none of it is from corporate PACs. Northup has collected $316,000 from PACs. Neither candidate has loaned their campaign any money.
