Second District Congressional candidate David Boswell raised $313,000 over the past three months, about $65,000 more than his republican opponent, Brett Guthrie. Guthrie raised $248,000 in the third quarter, bringing his fundraising total to more than one million dollars. Boswell, who had a horrible start to his fundraising, has raised just over half the total amount of his opponent, $532,000. And Guthrie had nearly three times the amount of cash-on-hand at the end of September, $680,000 to $232,000. Boswell is getting help from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee which is pouring money into TV ads attacking Guthrie. |
