Here's one more alert for history/political science buffs, or anyone interested in civics. Spalding University has a neat exhibit of historical documents. Here is their release:

Spalding University Hosts the Remnant Trust, Inc. Traveling Library of Historical Documents

WHAT: Spalding University hosts the Remnant Trust, Incorporated's collection of original and 1st edition works. The collection includes over 40 significant historical compositions such as the Magna Carta c. 1350, an Original Leaf of the Federalist papers, and the 11th Amendment to the Constitution dated 1803. Also featured are important spiritual and literary documents such as an 1806 Koran, 1455 Gutenberg Bible Leaf, and an 1865 Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.

The Remnant Trust, Inc encourages visitors to "touch, feel and read" these original documents.

Available for hands-on viewing during Spalding University Library Hours.
Monday through Thursday: 7:30 am -10:00pm

WHY: The Remnant Trust, Inc.'s goal is to contribute to a new generation's interest in issues such as human liberty and dignity. The organization believes that the public can build understanding of the cost of liberty and dignity and the vulnerability of each by viewing the works that display some of the most foundational thoughts regarding liberty and dignity.
