Will he or won't he? That's the most pressing question among Frankfort political observers. They're speculating on whether Greg Stumbo will run for House Speaker. I've said publicly that I don't think he will because Stumbo won't run if he can't win. And right now I don't see many committee chairmen and A and R committee members tossing aside their allegiance to Speaker Jody Richards. But then again, I predicted Larry Hopkins would beat Brereton Jones in the 1991 governor's race, so what do I know?
