Bruce Lunsford now trails Mitch McConnell by 12 points while John McCain has stretched his lead over Barack Obama to 18 points in Kentucky, according to the latest Survey USA/WHAS11 poll. The poll shows McConnell leading Lunsford in the U.S. Senate race 52%-40%. McConnell led by just 4 points in the same poll 8 weeks ago. The same set of likely voters now favor McCain by a margin of 55%-37%. McCain is leading Obama in every region of Kentucky except Louisville and 15 nearby counties where Obama is leading 49%-45%. Obama is struggling among Kentuckians who identify themselves as democrats. McCain is pulling 34% of the voters who ID themselves as democrats. McCain is even leading among voters under 35 years old. 2 CommentsLeave a comment |

Is it humorous when someone robs a bank and gets away with it? McConnell's campaign is based upon "fact creation" by his media manipulating staff. The voters don't want to hear the truth, it hurts too much. So, they are receptive to the "big lie" because it is easier to understand and accept as truth. The real facts stare the voters in the face; McConnell has been working hard to benefit the oil companies and not the people, tough to swallow, but it's the truth.
Couldnt agree more. Mitch McConnell has worked hard to build comfortable relationships with big oil and now he points the finger at someone else when gas prices are high. Give me a break.
