Kentucky's Attorney General is telling WHAS 11 News that wholesalers, not retailers, are to blame for the higher gas prices in the Louisville. Jack Conway says his office's preliminary investigation has found the wholesale price of gas in Louisville is 15-22 cents higher than it should be. Conway claims the problem is Marathon Oil, which he says, has a "monopoly" on the market, supplying 95% of the gas to station in Jefferson County. I'll have more on this story at 5 and 6 tonight. |
