The Kentucky Public Service Commission has invited a number of utility companies to a "meet and greet" session with the three new Public Service Commission members. It's not open to the public. The contact person is Stephanie Bell. She's the new $70K+ staffer at the P.S.C. who has, in the past, been a democratic fundraiser. UPDATED: P.S.C. spokesperson Andrew Melnykovych says the invitation's wording closing the meeting to the public "was a mistake." He says the commission sent invitations to the Attorney General's office and consumer groups, some of whom showed up for the get together. Melnykovych says the PSC paid for the invitations but the three commissioners paid the cost of the reception out of their own pockets. |
