Repubs Not Pushing Chandler's Opponent

The republican who's running against Congressman Ben Chandler isn't feeling any love from his own party leaders. Paul Glaser has the story in the State Journal.

No wonder the Republican Party in Kentucky is on a downward spiral. This same scenario was played out at conventions all over the state. The only thing that matters to the RPK is re-electing McConnell.

If you are a candidate down ticket forget it. I think that the Republicans want to be in the minority. It was only a fluke that they got control of the State Senate. Thanks to Dan Seum, who they treat like a red head step child. In the minority it is easier to control your own turf and you don't have to take responsibility for anything. You can just blame the majority.

I think that Republicans are going to be the minority for a long time. And I think that they want it that way.

Just thank McConnell!

"Paul has not officially withdrawn from the contest although John McCain has enough delegates to secure the nomination. Paul is a physician and member of the U.S. House but has only 24 delegates at the national convention."

Correct me if I am wrong, but i believe that Paul Glasser needs to correct this story. Ron Paul officially ended his campaign for President one week ago.

What about Glenn Murphy, McConnell's hand pick leader of the National Young Republicans? He was just sentenced to 6 years for sexual assault on a young man. I did not hear much about it. That type of thing goes on all the time in the GOP. Since they ran out the conservatives, there is nothing left but the log cabin Republicans.

I know that the Courier-Journal did not run much on the story. The CJ was in love with Jack Richardson, the former chairman. So was Larry Cox, McConnell's top dog. They should rename the Grand Ole Party, the Gay Ole Party. And should come clean to the public. It is not that people would be so offend about the gay Republicans, although some would, it is the fact that they are so hypocritical.

Amanda Caple would be proud so Jason Brangers.
