Sen. Mitch McConnell's campaign complained about a Rasmussen poll which showed Bruce Lunsford leading McConnell by 5 points right after the May primary. Well, maybe this race is going to be as close as the Rasmussen poll seemed to indicate because the first Survey USA/WHAS 11 poll of the Senate race shows McConnell leading by just four points. The poll shows McConnell leading Lunsford 50%-46% but winning every age group except the 18-34 year olds group where Lunsford leads 52%-41%. Normally that would be bad news for Lunsford because young folks don't vote in the same numbers as those of us who are over the hill. But this year, the youngsters may be energized to go to the polls because Barack Obama is on the ballot. Also, 23% of voters say they could change their mind about who they plan to vote for. The majority of those (53%) are McConnell supporters. Here are the full results of the poll. 2 CommentsLeave a comment |

Mark, as you know, the ONLY poll I find RELIABLE and "legit", and will quote with extreme confidence is your station's SURVEYUSA poll.
So thanks to you guys for always doing a GREAT job with it.
Maybe if the McConnell people would spend more time campaigning, and less time picking fights with their fellow Republicans, this race would not be so tight.
It always amazes me how arrogant the McConnell people are, to think they can treat so many people
so nasty, then expect their vote.
I asked one of the McConnell people why Mitch hated conservative Christian so much, he said, "Because you can't serve Christ and McConnell!"
