A new Survey USA/WHAS 11 poll shows Hillary Clinton leading Barack Obama by 12 points in Indiana. The survey of likely voters shows Clinton leading 54%-42%. The poll was taken over the weekend.
The results show Clinton with a huge lead among female voters (60%-38%) and among voters older than 50 (60%-37%). Eleven percent of Hoosier voters say they could still change their mind before voting tomorrow. Southern Indiana continues to be a stronghold for Clinton (61%-34%) while Indianapolis area voters favor Obama by a 17 point margin (58%-41%).
Clinton's lead has increased by 3% over the past week. She led 52%-43% in the Survey USA poll a week ago. The Clinton campaign says Hillary, President Bill Clinton or their daughter Clelsea have made nearly 100 stops in Indiana.
