Governor Beshear has replaced two members of the Kentucky Retirement System Board with two new members: Governor Beshear Appoints Members to Board of Trustees of the Kentucky Employees Retirement System
FRANKFORT, KY (May 15, 2008) - Governor Steve Beshear has appointed the following members to the Board of Trustees of the Kentucky Employees Retirement System to serve for terms expiring March 31, 2012:
Gayle B. McGrath, of Lexington, is an employee benefits attorney and partner at Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs. She received her Bachelors of Business Administration and Finance from Ohio University and her Juris Doctorate from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. McGrath represents members at large. The appointment replaces Lynn T. Harping, whose term has expired. Christopher B. Tobe, of Anchorage, is director of public markets for Aegon Institutional Markets in Louisville. He received his Bachelors of Economics and History from Tulane University in New Orleans and his Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University. Tobe represents members at large. The appointment replaces Walter J. Pagan, whose term has expired. The Board of Trustees of the Kentucky Employees Retirement System is composed of nine members, three of whom are appointed by the governor. The trustees represent and administer the County Employees Retirement System, Kentucky Employees Retirement System and State Police Retirement System.
