Senator Obama to Return to the Bluegrass State Next Week

LOUISVILLE - Early next week, Senator Barack Obama will make his third visit to Kentucky since he began running for president. No further details are available at this time. An updated schedule will be released as soon as it is available.

"We're ecstatic that Senator Obama will be returning to our great state of Kentucky," said Obama for America Kentucky State Director Carolyn Tandy. "Senator Obama has spent his life fighting for working families, and we're happy that voters will be able to hear first hand his plan to bring America together to deliver real change in Washington."

Kentucky was one of Senator Obama's first stops after he announced his candidacy for president in February 2007. He last visited the Bluegrass state in August. This week the Obama Campaign opened its 16th office in Kentucky as well as announced its Statewide Leadership Committee and a round of new endorsements from Western and Northern Kentucky.

I can’t speak for the working-class folks of Kentucky, but we good-ole-boys here in North Carolina weren't fooled one bit by those speeches Hillary gave us from the bed of a pickup truck. We aren't as gullible as the Clintons figured. We know that people who raked in 100 million in eight years aren't the kind who drive around in pickups or have friends who do. As Lincoln put it: "You can't fool all of the people all of the time. My advice to Hillary and her de facto running mate, husband Bill: Give it up. You’ve run out of tricks.
