Louisville Gets $ For Research Instead of Sewers

Since Louisville didn't reap any of the rewards of the last minute addition of water and sewer projects, local lawmakers cut a deal to get some cash for U of L researchers instead.

The $7.5 million will be used to help pay for clinical trials on potentially life saving procedures, transplants and other research that's close to being approved for marketing.
