Little Accomplished on Last Day of Session

The 2008 Legislative Session will finish with a whimper. By mid-afternoon the capitol building was virtually empty as many lobbyists headed home and lawmakers headed to lunch or to listen to banjo and guitar music in the Senate Republican offices.

In other words, the last day of the session was about the same as the previous 59. Little was done and lawmakers weren't trying to spin reporters that it was a good session.
