Bruce Lunsford has picked up another endorsement from a labor union. The Carpenters and Millwrights Union announced its support for Lunsford today. Here's part of the release from Lunsford's campaign: LOUISVILLE - Standing among dozens of members of the Indiana Kentucky Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights at their Louisville Headquarters, Executive Secretary-Treasurer David Tharp today announced the union's endorsement of Democrat Bruce Lunsford's campaign for United States Senate. "This year, the Kentucky race for U.S. Senate is all about supporting a candidate who will stand up and change the way we do business in Washington. We are confident Bruce Lunsford is the candidate that is committed to real change and will work to support policies that will advance the quality of life for our members and working families across Kentucky. That is why we enthusiastically endorse Bruce Lunsford for U.S. Senate and why our members will work to ensure his success in this election," Tharp said. HEBERT: 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

Mark,
Did you not report that Lunsford recieved the endorsement of Change to Win back in early March? Carpenters represent a sizeable portion of the Change to Win organization. Is this what we are left with, Lunsford rerolling out endorsements from unions that already endorsed him months ago and reporters still writing/posting stories about the same thing - just a different date? Was Lunsford campaign lying when it claimed to have recieved the Change to Win endorsement back in late February/early March?
