Senate Passes Ethics Bill Within Hours of Committee Vote
The Kentucky Senate continued its pattern of voting on controversial legislation on the same day they're approved by a senate committee. Today, it's the ethics bill which was quickly peddled through a senate committee and full senate within hours of each other.

Great. So now, after Governor Steve Beshear signs this into law, it will be even more illegal for public officials to practice some of their self-serving acts. The only way to show that we are serious about doing things right in government is to create greater transparency.
