Louisville developer Chris Thieneman's off and on run for Congress is still on hold. Thieneman's name will be on the May ballot as a republican candidate. But he says he's "still on the fence" about whether to run an all out campaign. Thieneman is still riled up about the way he was treated by Jefferson County GOP officials at the party's convention a couple of weekends ago. Thieneman was tossed out of the meeting after, he says, being a properly elected delegate to the nominations committee. Thieneman says he's being encouraged to run by a number of folks who didn't like the way he was treated but he hasn't decided whether to ramp up a fundraising effort. It's getting late. Meanwhile, the front runner for the republican nomination is ignoring Thieneman in her fundraising efforts and concentrating on John Yarmuth in the fall. Here's Anne Northup's fundraising e-mail: |
