So let me get this straight: Moberly wants to raise taxes $400 million, but still wants to hide the budget conference committee behind locked doors and armed guards so even rank and file lawmakers can't see what the government is spending our money on.
Way before we send any extra money to Frankfort, the legislature needs to open up the budgeting process to the people who pay the bills.

Good for Moberly! The state needs to figure out how to raise revenue fairly, and if leadership isn't going to do it, I'm glad that Moberly is.
