A spokesman for Bruce Lunsford's U.S. Senate campaign says there shouldn't be any controversy over Lunsford listing Chicago as his home on some property transfer papers. According to Achim Bergmann, the address listed on paperwork for a home Lunsford has bought in Arizona, is the home of his partner in the purchase, Jennifer McAdams. Bergmann says Lunsford and McAdams are 50/50 partners in the investment property. According to Bergmann, Lunsford's address on the property transfer has been changed to an address in Louisville. Bergmann also says Lunsford has been busy raising money, something he hasn't spent much time on in his previous campaigns. According to federal campaign rules, if Lunsford pumps more than $559,000 of his own money into his primary campaign, his primary opponents can go raise three times the legal limit of $2300 from individual donors. So Lunsford is out raising cash, attempting to avoid having the "millionaire amendment" kick in. UPDATE: I GOOFED! Bergmann says he never told me that Lunsford planned to keep his personal contributions to his campaign below the limit that would cause the "millionaire amendment" to kick in. In other words, Lunsford may be raising money from individuals but it doesn't necessarily mean he's not going to pour a boatload of his own cash into his campaign. 3 CommentsLeave a comment |

Page One could not clear up acase of the crabs. Try again!
No matter how hard Washignton insiders like Chuck Schumer or his political hacks like Bergmann try to shove 10 pounds of doo-doo in a 5 pound bag, Kentucky Democrats know its still doo-doo and we aren't going to buy it.
