Bush Is Bad - Kentuckians

President Bush's job approval rating continues to stink in Kentucky.

According to the latest Survey USA/WHAS11 News poll, the President's job approval rating is 38% with 60% disapproval. Those numbers are almost identical to January's numbers (37-61).
Republicans still think Bush is doing a good job by about a 2 to 1 margin (65-34) while independents think he's doing a lousy job (40-56).

The President's job approval numbers are highest in eastern Kentucky (48-52) which has suddenly become the most republican-leaning area of the state, not just in this poll but in other statewide polls as well. Hmmmm. Thoughts anyone??? Beshear/Mongiardo heavy-handed handling of state senate electiont? Hal Rogers lovefest?
