Bridges Project In Jeopardy
Outside of casinos and the budget, nothing has gotten more attention in the first few weeks of the legisaltive session than the Ohio River Bridges project in Louisville.
The $4.1 billion project has everyone's attention because of its potential impact on other road proejcts across the state. But Governor Beshear isn't making any promises about including the bridges project in his 6 Year Road plan and there are open discussions about delaying work on the project until folks in Jefferson County can agree on what they want the project to look like and how they want to pay for it. Here's my story.

Comments
Jefferson County had it good under Governor Fletcher.
They threw him out like yesterday's newspaper.
Now we will go back to exporting our taxes to other parts of the state. Be Careful for what you wish.

Any truth to the rumblings that Chris Thieneman is so upset with McConnell that he may run for the Senate as an independent? Apparently they're gearing up a thienemanforsenate.com website?
