Sources tell me Janie Miller of Shelby County will be named Health and Family Services Secretary at a news conference tomorrow. Miller just took a job with EDS, which administers Kentucky's Medicaid claims. She is a former State Insurance Commissioner, Medicaid Commissioner and Public Protection Secretary. Miller gets the job after negotiations with the head of PASSPORT in Louisville, Joyce Hagan, broke down.

I haven't confirmed who will be named Deputy Secretary under Miller. But former state representative Steve Nunn was in Frankfort today and his name has been mentioned in connection with the deputy's job.
