Lt. Governor Steve Pence says Governor Fletcher didn't appreciate differing opinions within his administration. No real surprise to many, I'm sure. Here's the story. 3 CommentsLeave a comment |

Well, AMEN to that! Pence summed up the last 4 years of the Fletcher Administration that I personally witnessed and experienced. If you dissented, questioned, or hesitated to act on directives, you were effectively put in your place by anyone and everyone in the Kiddie Corps Gov staff, including the Gov and First Lady. State Government does not work that way, and many times, we questioned directives because of concerns over legality, ethics, and the public good. In turn, our offices were stripped of duties and staff, and essentially, agencies were bypassed in regards to agency business. A lot of cloak and dagger stuff I had NEVER witnessed in nearly 20 years in public service. I do not envy Beshear: he will spend half of his 4 years trying to straighten out the mess created by Fletcher.
Hmmmmm. So ol' Fletch doesn't like differing opinions or dissent, eh? Don't you know then that the recent drubbing he took at polls *really* ruffled his (few remaining) feathers.
Bye, bye, Ernie!
Hazel, aka...........
Hebert, I'm no so sure the statements about Fletcher (from Pence) will be any different than what the statements about Beshear will be.
Steve Beshear does not strike me as a open minded man. He strikes me as a "my way or the highway" kind of guy.
I say my comments about Beshear based off of Beshear's OWN actions from his political career.
