A couple of democratic sources say Obama is trying to schedule a fundraiser at the Lexington Convention Center on August 26. The money raised would go to Obama's presidential campaign. The cost of the tickets is $25 but you can get a picture with Obama by donating the maximum $2300. A spokesperson for Obama's campaign says his schedule is fluid and hasn't even been firmed up through the end of the week, much less the end of the month. The man who is supposedly leading Obama's efforts in Kentucky is Matthew Barzun of Louisville. He hasn't returned my phone messages.
