Gatewood Galbraith is the first gubernatorial candidate to submit his first mandatory campaign finance report to the Registry of Election Finance.

It shows Galbraith has raised $17,823 and spent almost all of it ($17,049) leaving him with less than $800 in the bank.
Galbraith and his running mate, Mark Wireman, pumped in about $3000 of the total. Two attornies, Marcia Wireman of Jackson and Robert Cornett gave the $1000 maximum to the Galbraith/Wireman campaign.

Among other down ballot candidates filing their reports today, here are the totals they have raised during this election cycle according to paper and electronic filings with the Registry:

Jon Larson (R) Attorney General $1,158
Dick Robinson (D) Sec. of State $43,410
Richie Farmer (R) Ag. Commish $35,170 plus about $49,000 leftover from '03
David Neville (D) Ag. Commish $10,020
Patrick Dunmire (D) Treasurer $2,426
Melinda Wheeler (R) Treasurer $6,025
