3) One of the folks who just donated to Yarmuth's campaign is Harvey Sloane. Yeah, that Harvey Sloane. Sloane was with Yarmuth last Saturday at a car show at Mike Linnig's Restaurant in Southwest Louisville. Folks who saw him say Sloane looks good. Last I heard he was somewhere overseas playing doctor in an underdeveloped country. Sloane is former Louisville Mayor and Jefferson County Judge-Executive who, many thought, would be Governor. But he lost a statewide race for U.S. Senate. He then disappeared from the Kentucky political landscape.

4) Before the Louisville Rotary Club debate today, Yarmuth and Northup were going table to table shaking hands when they crossed paths. Yarmuth was behind Northup when he said "Hi Anne", and appeared to briefly stick out his hand for her to shake. She didn't acknowledge, leaving Yarmuth in an awkward position of pulling his hand away and patting Northup on the back. I saw it from a distance, but didn't get it on tape. Mark Flores from WLKY-TV did. The two did shake hands after the debate.
