Two weekends ago, Northup's campaign headquarters got hit with flood waters. It was located in St. Matthews near the Big Lots store. The carpet and much of the furniture was ruined. The campaign found only one phone line worked. So they picked up the campaign HQ and moved to new digs. Then on Monday, October 2, Northup had a bunch of tests run on her right knee which she had injured. I don't know what the tests showed but Northup isn't getting an operation in the middle of a campaign and she's not on crutches. She was a little gimpy for her news conference on the sordid Mark Foley affair. Northup's had a bad year. She's must be hoping that luck isn't going to continue through November 7th.
