Richmond Register columnist Don McNay said on KET's Comment on Kentucky that Lexington businessman Alan Stein is considering a race for Governor or Lt. Governor.

Stein owns the Lexington Legends baseball team and is the husband of State Rep. Kathy Stein, the Republican baiting, rabble rousing, liberal, feminist from Lexington. I don't think Mr. Stein could be a conservative Republican and live with the Mrs. so I'm guessing he's a Democrat.

The gas gouging investigation by Greg Stumbo could be a big boost to whichever office he runs for in 2007. Stumbo has subpoenaed records from Speedway (owned by Marathon Oil) and 11 of the major U.S. oil companies, looking at their pricing. There's not a better issue to captivate the voters imagination right now than high gas prices which don't seem to make sense.

If Ben Chandler was seriously considering a race for Governor, why wasn't he at the Fancy Farm Picnic?

Kelly Downard is going to have a tough job saying Jerry Abramson has been bad for Louisville's economy. Thousands of jobs for Louisville have been announced in the past 6 months. And Downard's sucking up to the unions on the arena contracts probably didn't win, or lose, him any votes.

Jerry has announced mainly part time UPS jobs that were there with or without him. Typically most of the jobs announced are low wage jobs.

Downard sucking up to unions is comical really considering he has sided with Jerry against labor in every instance as a council member.

Real choices begin with real people.

I offer an alternative to the Jerry/Kelly show. They both have stood together on every major issue. I am the only candidate who stands against the status quo they want in Louisville.

For a real choice for something better I urge you to check out my website. You will not be disappointed.
