Pleasing Ben

My gut tells me Ben Chandler won't run for Governor in 2007. But there are plenty of Democratic hopefuls who seem to be climbing in Chandler's back pocket every chance they get.

Here's an example of what I mean. At a recent symposium on raising the minimum wage in Louisville, there were three potential Democratic candidates in the room with Congressman Chandler. Senator Daniel Mongiardo and House Speaker Jody Richards were on the dais with Chandler. They spoke. Chandler gave Auditor Crit Luallen a big hug when they met beforehand. Luallen wasn't a speaker but sat about 4 rows back from the front table panelists. Chandler appears to really like and respect Luallen. Maybe a Chandler-Luallen ticket if that Chandler-Abramson thing doesn't work?

Amazing. The MAJORITY of your imbecilic blog postings have NO comments. Guess you don't matter anymore, huh Hebert?

Mark,

"Comment on Kentucky" this weekend was interesting, but I must correct you to tell you that Alan Stein is "not just another rich guy running for Governor."

He is neither just another guy, nor rich. Trust me on both of these assessments.
