Louisville Metro Councilwoman Cheri Bryant Hamilton stumbled and slapped her way into a strange incident in early May. The Council Democrats' spokesman, Tony Hyatt confirms this story: Bryant Hamilton is walking out of the Walgreens at 35th and Broadway. As she's walking out, a man gropes her. Yeah, that kind of grope.
So Bryant-Hamilton, with car keys in hand, slaps the guy in the face and yells some expletives that can't be repeated on a semi-reputable blog.
Bryant-Hamilton apologizes to a woman who's nearby and hears the swearing. The Councilwoman then gets in her car and leaves, but calls the Walgreens manager later to complain. Here's the rest of the story: The guy who allegedly groped Bryant-Hamilton is an albino who's blind. So how did he see well enough to figure out what to grab?
