Custodial hearing for Michael Jackson's kids postponed

7:01 PM Fri, Jul 10, 2009 |

The hearing to determine the guardianship for Michael Jackson's kids has been pushed back a week. According to a court spokeswoman the hearing was granted at the request of Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson and the singer's ex-wife, Debbie Rowe.
According to Jackson's attorney the delay will give both sides time to work out a private and amicable resolution. Rowe has not yet indicated in court filings whether she intends to seek custody of Jackson's three children, who range in ages from 7 to 12.
It is the second time that Rowe and Katherine Jackson have sought a delay in the guardianship case. The hearing will now be held July 20.

Stormy,
Thanks for the comment. If Katherine Jackson can't take care of the children who do you believe should be next? I pose this question to anyone who wants to respond. Should it be Diana Ross, a non-family member, a family member or the mother of two of the three children? What will happen to the third child? Will they be separated? What if "Blanket" does not like Debbie Rowe?

I feel that Katherine Jackson should keep the kid. They know their grandparents, aunts and uncles. They need to be surrounded by Michael Jacksons love and around his family. Ms. Rowe gave Michael Jackson the kids as a gift. Please let the children stay in the home of the parent and siblings who supported him through all of his trials and tribulations and loved him through it all. Let them stay in the home they visited growing up and to continue to let them live the lifestyle they are accustomed to.
