Tonight, ministries all over the city took a moment out of their bible study services to ask their members to pray for WHAS11 staff member Chuck Olmstead. I understand that Dr. Kevin Cosby at St. Stephen Baptist Church made an appeal to his congregation.

I spoke with the family tonight and they are receiving overwhelming support and prayers and they would like to thank the community. Chuck is showing improvement but he's still in serious condition.
