I'm sitting at the Hardee's across the street from the UAW Local 862 office on Fern Valley Road, a few hours after Ford announced it would transform the Louisville Assembly Plant into a "C car platform" plant. LAP is on life support now, but it's about to get a new lease on life.
We'll be talking with Ford and UAW officials at 2pm at the plant -- also asking questions about jobs from Michigan Truck Plant - will they move with the Expedition and Navigator when those large SUV's come to KTP?
